Holding the Space Together
The lobby is a large area spanning the length of the building and this area needed something to hold the space together, so Whitney chose the perfect tile. 30”x60” Dwell in smoke. Laid in various patterns throughout the space. While checking in, you’re greeted with a soft 3d design (3D Diamond white) and a stunning Porcelain marble look (Marvel Pro) installed in a book match pattern behind the lobby desk.
an Elegant & Modern Feel
Harth, the restaurant located on the first floor of the hotel, has been designed with a chevron pattern composed of thin strips of tile installed with 3 colors ways, delivering an ombre look. Multiple other tiles were used on the walls in this space to provide an elegant and modern feel while you dine. Harth features products from MLW, Island Stone and Atlas Conorde.
Achieving Design Aesthetics
In the guest suite restrooms they used Crossville Retro Active 6×12 Pure White on the shower walls to achieve design aesthetics as well as comply with the brand standard. With this hotel being in Franklin, they wanted your stay to be just as lovely as our little town. By adding the ever so timeless Marvel Pro in Stautario Select on the floor and blending the true gem, in my eyes, (Etic Pro, polished Eucalipto Smoked) on the walls as a grand focal point.
A Hotel Fit For Franklin
Whitney Fisher and her team did a great job of reflecting the city of Franklin in their design and tile choices. From the 30″x60″ pattern lay in the lobby, to the timeless Marvel Pro in the guest suit restroom, this project is as lovely as the little town of Franklin.
